Frequently asked questions

General
How long does a house design take?
A concept layout usually takes 5 to 7 working days from the point we have your plot details. A complete set — floor plans, elevation, 3D view and structural drawings — typically takes 3 to 4 weeks, depending on how many revisions you want along the way.
Revisions at the concept stage are included; we would much rather change a drawing than change a wall.

What do you need from me to start?
Plot dimensions, the direction the plot faces, and a rough idea of your requirement — how many bedrooms, how many floors, and the budget range you are working to.
If you have a survey sketch, an approval drawing or photographs of the site, send those too. If you do not, we can work from the dimensions alone and confirm on a site visit.

Do you work outside Gayaji?
Design work can be done for any location, since it is drawing-based. Material supply and contractor work are practical within Gayaji, Barachatti and the surrounding area, where we can get to site. Tell us where your plot is and we will be straight with you about what we can and cannot do there.
Can I buy only materials, or only hire contractors?
Yes. The three services are separate and you can take any one of them. Many clients start with a design and come back later for materials or execution, but there is no requirement to.
Is there a charge for the first consultation?
No. The first discussion and an indicative quotation cost nothing. Charges begin only once you accept a written quotation for actual work.
How do I know what my project will cost?
You receive an itemised quotation before anything starts — line by line, with quantities and rates. If the scope changes later, the change is quoted separately and needs your approval before it is carried out.
Process & timelines
How are payments structured?
Payments are tied to stages, and the stages are listed on your quotation. Nothing is due before you have accepted the quotation, and each subsequent stage becomes payable when that stage is complete.
What happens if I do not like the design?
Tell us. At concept stage, revisions are part of the process and cost nothing.
After a design is approved, you can raise a change request from your account or from the tracking page. We review it, tell you what it involves, and quote it if it falls outside the agreed scope.

Can I track my project?
Yes. Every request and project gets a reference number and a tracking page. Enter the reference along with the mobile number you used, and you can see the current stage, the timeline and the latest update.
Do you provide structural drawings?
Yes. Footing, column, beam and slab drawings can be provided as part of the drawing set. These are what your contractor builds from, and we recommend them for anything above a single storey.
Who supervises the work on site?
For projects we execute, our team schedules and supervises the trades. For design-only projects, we can carry out periodic site visits as a separate service if you would like the work checked against the drawings.
Materials & delivery
Do you deliver materials to the site?
Yes. Delivery is arranged as part of the order and the delivered rate is quoted upfront, including haulage. Tell us the site location and quantity when you enquire.
Why do some materials show "price on request"?
Because their rate genuinely moves — sand, aggregates and made-to-order items depend on availability, royalty and the distance to your site. Publishing a fixed number for those would be misleading, so we quote them per enquiry instead.
Can you tell me how much material I need?
Yes. Send us your plan or your built-up area and we will work out indicative quantities for cement, steel, bricks and sand. It is an estimate, not a guarantee, but it is close enough to budget from.
Still have a question?
Send it over. We would rather answer it now than have you guess.
