These terms apply when you use the Design My House website and when you submit an enquiry through it.

Using this website

The designs, drawings, images and text on this site belong to Design My House unless stated otherwise. You may look at them and share links to them. You may not copy them for commercial use without our written permission.

Enquiries and quotations

Submitting a form on this site is an enquiry, not an order, and does not create a contract. Prices shown on the site are indicative. A binding price exists only once we have issued you a written quotation and you have accepted it.

Quotations are valid for the period stated on them. After that period, rates may need to be reconfirmed.

Design work

Concept revisions are included as described on your quotation. Changes requested after a design has been approved are treated as a change request, and are quoted separately before being carried out.

Statutory approvals, sanctions and permissions from local authorities are the responsibility of the property owner unless the quotation explicitly says otherwise.

Materials

Material availability, brands and rates are subject to change at the time of order. Quantities we estimate from your drawings are indicative and should be checked against site conditions.

Contractor work

Work is carried out to the scope stated on the accepted quotation. Anything outside that scope is quoted separately. Timelines assume uninterrupted site access, timely decisions and timely stage payments.

Payments

Payments are made in stages as set out on your quotation. No payment is collected through this website.

Liability

We carry out our work with reasonable care and skill. We are not liable for delays caused by weather, material shortages, statutory approvals, or decisions outside our control.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version published here at the time you submit an enquiry is the one that applies to it.
